North Beach is a historical and vibrant section of San Francisco, filled with top-notch restaurants and bars. Columbus street between Washington St and Bay St is a sight by itself. Our favorite sights are: Coit Tower (memorable views), Filbert Street Steps (SF nature walk and workout, keep an eye out for the famous Wild Parrots ) and the Cable Car Museum (amazing mechanical operations). Our favorite restaurants are: Tomasso's (notable Italian and pizza, friendly atmosphere and service), Mo's Grill (flavorful burgers and sandwiches), Golden Boy Pizza (great by the slice pizza), L'Osteria Del Forno (quaint authentic Italian gem with reasonable prices) and Petite Deli (tastey sandwiches with warm service, a NB local's favorite).  Our favorite bars are: The Saloon (SF's oldest bar with great blues and low prices), Tony and Nik's (neighborhood hangout, attractive crowd with friendly service) and Dell' Uva (wine bar with a knowledgeable staff).
